Simultaneous ironing and drying

These large calandrias can be used by one or two operators, in single-user mode and mounted on the wall, or, with the longitudinal folding option, it is also possible to add the outlet for ironed and folded clothes at the rear, to pass the calandra through.

Thanks to the NOMEX® bands covering the entire surface of the roller, the ironing and drying quality is perfect. Clothes are easy to feed in thanks to the presence of drive belts. Insertion width 200 ÷ 260 ÷ 330 cm.

Safety comes first

The large drying calenders are all equipped with safety systems to protect the operator and the functionality of the machine, such as a safety thermostat to prevent unwanted overheating (electric and gas models) and roller feed speed adjustable between 1 m/min and 8 m/min thanks to the inverter-controlled motor. There is also a finger protection strip to protect the operator in the event of incorrect maneuvers and a manual device to maintain roller rotation and eject the linen in the event of a power failure. Finally, the ignition and control system for the radiant gas burner via an electronic control unit is standard. If desired, a roller with a chrome-plated surface can be requested.

Electronic control

The electronic control, standard across the entire range, offers:
– Easy-to-use 7" touchscreen
– 37 languages available
– 5 preset programs, with the option to create an unlimited number of others
– USB connection: traceability, data analysis

Precise speed control allows for better temperature and cost control. The digital thermostat for temperature selection allows for constant visual control of the temperature reached (models with electric or gas heating). In models with steam heating, the temperature can be displayed.

Features available upon request

Upon request, it is possible to automatically adjust the ironing speed based on the level of residual moisture detected in the clothing, thanks to a moisture sensor. This means that the operator does not have to manually adjust the ironing speed.

The ironing speed of up to 15 m/min is also optional + feed assistance by reducing speed when feeding the fabric. Thanks to variable speed management, the machine adapts its speed during ironing, combining performance, productivity, and quality. There are three modes available to combine high productivity and excellent drying quality:

A) Quality: variable speed for drying quality + electric assistance

B) Standard: variable speed for neutral humidity + electric assistance

C) Fast: variable speed for humidity with productivity + feed assistance

Optional gas radiant heating system

Upon request, the calender can be equipped with a radiant burner: heat is recovered by convection and radiation, making the equipment more efficient.

Advantages

For the same gas consumption, hourly output increases by 25%, saving time and energy. Radiant burners can be used at high altitudes without oxygen level problems, allowing for greater installation flexibility.
