Simultaneous ironing and drying

These large calenders can be operated by one or two operators, in single-front mode and close to the wall, or, with the option of a longitudinal crimping clamp, it is also possible to add an outlet for ironed and possibly folded linen on the back, to pass through the calender.

Thanks to the NOMEX® bracelet packaging covering the entire surface of the roll, the ironing and drying quality is perfect. The introduction of linen is facilitated by the presence of straps for pulling it through. Useful width for introduction: 200 ÷ 260 ÷ 330 cm.

Safety first

The large drying calenders are all equipped with safety systems to protect the operator and the functionality of the machine, such as a safety thermostat to prevent unwanted overheating (electric and gas models) and roller speed adjustable between 1 m/min and 8 m/min thanks to the motor controlled by inverter technology. There is also a finger protection strip to protect the operator in the event of incorrect maneuvers and a manual device to keep the roller rotating and eject the fabric in the event of a power failure. Finally, a gas burner ignition and control system via an electronic control unit is standard. A roller with a chrome-plated surface is available on request.

Precise speed control allows for better temperature and cost control. The digital temperature selection thermostat allows for constant visual control of the temperature reached (models with electric or gas heating). In models with steam heating, the temperature can be displayed.

Features available upon request

Upon request, it is possible to have automatic adjustment of the ironing speed based on the level of residual moisture detected in the laundry, thanks to a moisture sensor. This means that the operator does not need to manually adjust the ironing speed.

As an option, the ironing speed can reach 15 m/min + feeding assistance by reducing the speed when feeding the fabric. Thanks to variable speed management, the machine adapts its speed during ironing, combining performance, productivity, and quality. Three modes are available to combine high productivity and excellent drying quality:

A) Quality: variable speed for drying quality + electric assistance

B) Standard: variable speed for neutral humidity + electric assistance

C) Rapid: variable speed for humidity with productivity + electric assistance

Optional gas radiant heating system

Upon request, it is possible to equip the grate with a radiant burner: heat is recovered by convection and radiation, making the equipment more efficient.

Advantages

For the same gas consumption, hourly output increases by 25%, saving time and energy. Radiant burners can be used at high altitudes without oxygen level issues, allowing for greater installation flexibility.
