The importance of ergonomics in the laundry

How important is the 'E' factor in the professional textile care equipment?

For us,ergonomics has always been a crucial factor in improving performance in the laundry: working in a healthy, beautiful and functional environment simplifies and speeds up daily tasks.

That's why it is one of the cornerstones in the design of our machines: starting with the 7" displaythat it is always visible to the operator and can be used comfortably with gloves on, moving to the dregree of door opening (up to 180°) for san easy usage of the trolley, to the external panelling of the dryers that remains cool even at maximum temperature thanks to the absence of any kind of dispersion (heat is used where it is really needed).

To make the operators' work less burdensome , our washing machines and dryers can be supplied already mounted on a plinth (from 10 to 40 cm high) that lifts and aligns them, thus reducing bending and repetitive movements and making the environment more aesthetically pleasing.

If aesthetics is part of ergonomics, so is quietness: 55db is the maximum noise produced by our dryers (less than a hairdryer), 65db by the smallest washing machines , 75db by the largest ones.

The 'E' factor also involves functional aspects: we have developed an interactive, multi-leveluser interface Wavy that exploits the potential of icons to make programming, managing and monitoring the equipment fast and easy for different types of operators (basic, intermediate, professional and technical).
