S160-200/30: perfect ironing surface
The excellent quality of the ironing surface of our S160-200/30 ironing machines is guaranteed by the material we used, which is able to quickly reach the desired temperature and maintain it over the entire length of the plate. Being an extruded aluminium component, the surface is extremely smooth and remains intact at any temperature. Finally, thanks to the deep anodising treatment, these professional ironers are also resistant and inert to chemical agents.
The ironing surface of the S160-200/30 range is extremely smooth and remains unaltered at any temperature of use, without the need for additional mechanical systems to maintain its shape. The deep anodising treatment, then, makes it hard and inert to chemical agents, removing any corrosion problems (e.g. possible presence of chlorine residues or other elements in the fabrics). Finally, the ceramic fibre insulation ensures maximum thermal efficiency and minimum heating loss, ensuring a more comfortable work environment. The quality of ironing is also influenced by the thermal output: our armoured and sealed heating elements are integrated in the ironing plate and not simply placed on the back (as in the traditional appliances). The heating generated by the heart of the basin ensures excellent ironing performance. Finally, the type of roller also plays an important role: the S160-200/30s have a perforated roller with a suction engine as standard, covered with a double layer of soft steel wool, a cotton felt and a NOMEX® outer cover that makes them capable of ironing even flat linen with a moisture content of 20-25%.
It's also available a roller cover made of MAXPRESS® steel springs and NOMEX® felt, which enable to ironing linen with up to 40-45% of moisture content.
The S160-200/30 ironers are single-sided, i.e. they can be placed against the wall and managed by a single operator. Available with electric or steam heating system, they are equipped with a roller rotation speed adjustment system (with inverter technology) that allows the ironing of more humid linen or with very difficult creases, and a suction engine that, working with the perforated roller, is able to remove the steam generated during the ironing phase, improving the working environment and ironing quality.
These ironers are equipped with operator protection systems such as a foot pedal to stop the roller and spread the linen on the feeding board, a manual emergency button and a finger-guard board that reverses the roller's rotation in the event of incorrect manoeuvres. These roller ironers also have dual safety systems and redundant alarm circuits. Such as the standard electromechanical electronic safety thermostat, which prevents unwanted overheating: it will automatically switch off the machine and moving the hot plate away from the roller if the machine it's unattended.
The S160-200/30 ironers are equipped with the ST23 control system that manages the temperature through the P.I.D. system (Proportional - Derivative - Integrative). The system modulates the power, optimising the consumption: uniform heat distribution, low consumption, no risk of overheating and, of course, excellent ironing quality. This control system also allows the variation of the roller rotation speed, to effectively iron of very wrinkled linen or particularly difficult fabrics, the management of the suction engine, which eliminates the steam generated during ironing, and the connection of the equipment to an integrated payment system for self-service use.
